1962 Oldsmobile 98

This was the highest end of the Oldsmobile division of GM. Another family heirloom restored to its former glory. This 1962 Oldsmobile was purchased new by the owner’s parents. With a 394 Rocket and air conditioning, this is an awesome highway cruiser. This was the high end of the Oldsmobile line. Unlike other G.M. models the Olds 98 had a body all it's own and did not share any sheet metal with the rest of the full size line. Being top of the line meant that the 98 were the most technologically advanced with power and comfort items to help Americans take advantage of the expanding highway system. An item of special interest, we were able to locate original cloth remnants for the seats in this car. This was crucial since the pattern is not reproduced today.
