1964 Griffith

This 1964 Griffith is #001. This is in fact the first Griffith 200 which served duty as the test mule and was driven by Mark Donohue. Jack Griffith started with the TVR Grantura and set out to build a car that could beat Carrol Shelby's AC Cobras. Powered by the Ford 289 and weighing in at 1800 lbs. with an 88 inch wheelbase, these were a handful to say the least. 0 to 60 took just 3.9 seconds and top speed was in excess of 150 m.p.h. We are currently performing some maintenance and modifications to make this awesome machine a little more livable away from the track.
